I'm good with that.

STILL, I refuse to believe a common fight between these two have ended up in Lindsey's being thrown out of the band.

Same here....unless as someone else mentioned, this went all 1987 with someone ending up on the hood of a car, they've clearly had a million fights over the years that never ended up with someone being FIRED.

They've spent over 20 years now solidifying this band as the Stevie Nicks/Lindsey Buckingham show, with Fleetwood and McVie (sometimes x2) backing them. To even attempt to go on now without Buckingham when clearly the Buckingham McVie album couldn't be called Fleetwood Mac without Nicks, is ludicrous and hopefully not true at all.

I'm aware that I probably sound very negative or lindsey biased, but I honestly just can't come up with much of anything to make the case that Stevie has been equally supportive if this band as other members have been.

Neither of them are saints and it's equally frustrating that it seems as if the rest of the band doesn't want to get in the middle of it, so whatever fallout between those two goes unchecked. Mick is the peacekeeper that also just so happens to recognize none of Stevies faults because they are "soulmates" which is exactly the term Mick has used to describe the relationship between him and stevie.

Her comments in 2003 really spelled it all out for the decade to come.

"This isn't about music, it's about money"

And then combine it with the legacy preservation and rewriting of history that she clearly participates in...

make no mistake about it, the level of hate and the level of being motivated (some might say obsessed) by it is equal in both parties (Stevie AND Lindsey).

How far each would go to act on that hatred privately to screw the other one over is open for debate. I say it's a close call.

I might be the only person on this thread that’s not upset. It’s all just speculating at this point but no one around here could be accused of missing an opportunity to bash Stevie.

Yeah, but I don’t see Lindsey plotting with Mick to get Stevie fired.

What? Should we congratulate her because she got Lindsey fired?

Do you have some inside information no one else has? We are now accepting as fact that Stevie got Lindsey fired? Please.

Well, she's the one that fills arenas, and Lindsey will never quit, so if she didn't want to tour with him anymore, yeah, she got him fired.

I talked to my sister about this for an hour today. She came up with the novel idea that "Lindsey's out" was floated to gauge fan reaction before the band actually does anything. Maybe they don't have a replacement and wanted to see how much support there would be for Mike Campbell. Or maybe they wanted to know who fans would suggest as an appropriate replacement.
