You very clearly seem to have a Chrisine/Lindsey favoritism that shows in just about everything you post. I guess we're at a stalemate.

I don't though. I really don't have a favoritism towards anyone. I'm not sure why you think that. Maybe you think that being open to critiquing Stevie and expressing when I get annoyed with her just as much as praising her means favoring others but it doesn't at least not for me. I can critique any of them and praise them just the same. I don't feel the great need to rush to any particular person's defense unless there's a worthy point to be made. Hence why I said Stevie isn't winning an Oscar and BM isn't winning a Grammy either.

But either way I'm tired of having this argument, we've had an exchange about this identical topic before and clearly not seeing eye to eye and that's fine. But then please stop responding to my posts and reiterating what I've said to try and make it seem as if I just hate Stevie and love Lindsey and Christine when that's far from the case. Have a nice day.

Does anyone know if you can buy the song anywhere without buying the whole album? :/

And Mike, you're right, the award would go to the writers...but wouldn't it be cool to see STEVIE FREAKIN' NICKS perform it live at the Oscars?
It doesn't look like the film is going to win any awards with a 24% critical consensus rating on Rotten Tomatoes. But 70% of audiences liked it, maybe because they were all Stevie fans, who only went for her song!

I'd happily pay for the entire album to get the song if it was available anywhere other than itunes.

One of the characters sings the song in part during the movie and Stevie sings the song in full with the credits.

I actually like this song. It keeps morphing throughout and the production works with her voice. Is there a filter on her voice? She sounds good. Unfortunately, I'm not going to buy the whole album for one song. That pisses me off.

But (and the article is really misleading in this way), the writer is actually the one who would be nominated for this song. The best we could hope for is Stevie performing it during the ceremony.
