Default In new interview Mick mentions tour but no album.

http://www.classicrockrevisited.com/...ew.php?id=1173
VERY TELLING:
"We are going to Dodgers Stadium to play for the Dodgers. They are throwing a huge private party. The whole band is reuniting to do this show and not for very many people. It is like 2,000. It is really unbelievable, really. We are all getting back together and I think probably in about a little over a year from now we will be back at it rehearsing to go on what will be another big world tour which will last the better half of two years"

Call me DISGUSTED!

Oh come on now, you are stirring the pot
You are taking this statement completely out of context. He was asked about the Dodger Stadium show and went on to talk about other live shows ONE YEAR FROM NOW.

Christine, Lindsey and Mick have ALL stated there will be one last album. There is not one statement from any of them that retracts that statement. People need to stop reading into statements what they want to believe.
Lindsey prefers the studio to touring. He believes its the best way to end the Fleetwood Mac story...one final album with the 5 key members. I think they definitely want to get a new record out before a tour next year.

I think they are keeping the new album all hush hush on purpose.

The voice of reason appears. I don't think they will go out on tour without new music. They just did that. I think Mick assumes we all know by now that new music is coming. Stevie stated there will be new music also. We just need to be a bit more patient.

It needs to be their farewell tour. It would be a perfect send off. They had a reunion with Christine and their 2017 tour should be the farewell.

It was the perfect opportunity to mention new mx. Instead he talked about yet another tour. He has been spotted frequently at his restaurant lately (for the last few weeks) since his tour ended. So they are not working on anything. Sorry but I have a reason to be jaded at this point. I could care less about another greatest hits cash grab. Been there done Rhiannon a million times.

Amen. If they were really planning, Mick would be yapping about it, getting the buzz started. But it's all dead in the water. If they go on a tour without new music (and I mean more than just two or three new songs in a set that aren't released first in the studio) then I'm done.

Well, to be fair, after the next tour I think we're all 'done'.

Touche. But I'm not going to attend that last tour. That's what I meant. No more throwing dollars at a band that won't release new music.

You'll be happy to just stare at the stairs.

Me neither. But when the dates are there, I'll go. Sad and happy that I saw them for the last time.

I think the silence from Stevie and Lindsey about their upcoming plans -Mac or solo- is deafening.

Mick is the only one with plans, but they wouldn't need him in the studio if he's already laid down his parts, if they are recording a new album.

I like your positive thinking.
But nah- if there was any remote chance of recording anything there's nowhere else in the world Mick would want to be. He'd be right there doing all he could to mediate. As much as Mick is money-driven and lives for FM tours (or tours to live?) I really think he wants nothing more than a new album- he has a lot of pride in the FM legacy.
