I just remember hearing Stevie and wondering why she was not mentioned or credited. It was never mentioned even when Stevie spoke about the song. She herself never said...I SANG BACK UP.
I also think its strange that Tom would not credit Stevie. No big deal. Its just one of those things
It was pretty common for musicians in the 70s and 80s to be uncredited for little things they did on other famous musicians' works, like Prince in Stand Back, Stevie and Lindsey in Magnet and Steel, Mick Jagger in You're So Vain, Eddie Van Halen in Beat it, George Harrison in that song by Belinda Carlisle and more.

True but Stevie and Tom worked so much together I never heard ONCE from anyone when the song was on the radio that Stevie was singing with him. Even weirder is that Stevie has a very identifiable voice. I used to think it was a no brainer she was on the song but then had doubts.

Does anyone remember how disturbing the music video was for "DCAHNM" was? I mean, Alice getting hacked into AND eaten, as if she were a cake! That still gives me the creeps!

The video was "cutting edge" back then, lol. I loved it. Soundgarden's Black Hole Sun reminded me of it a little cause it has that trippy look to it.
