Is there a possibility that it's just a really good photoshop on the girls face? I think we've established that Lindsey could easily be just a coincidental look alike - any number of guys with that hairstyle in that pose... maybe someone saw the picture and thought, hey that guy looks like Lindsey, so they 'shopped Stevie's face in and voila.

I need to look at it more closely.

and wasn't Stevie's hair permed around the white album time? It's dark and permed on the back of the album, and many of the behind-the-scenes photos of them during that time her hair is curly... the style of the girl's hair in this pic is right for when Stevie was blonde (think of the pics of her on that car even) but not for anytime she's worn it dark that I can recall anyway.....

and aside from the faces being "off", there's something about that dress that just isn't right either....

I was thinking the same thing about the hair. Per my recollection (and I might be missing periods - someone correct me) t was dirty blonde and straight and long, some point it had to have been long and dark brown (BN album cover), and then it was permed and dark brown (ie, the couply picture of the two of them with Stevie hanging off Lindsey) and then the perm was growing out (circa the White Album back cover photo) and then it was blonde again....

Something about the picture is off in general. It just looks like people dressed up and sat down and posed for it or something..

Maybe it's so formal because of the occasion and whatnot... but I just don't see them wearing that. Lindsey went from like total hippie attire in the late 60's/early 70's to the wide-leg jeans and the huge platform shoes with tight button ups and all shortly after....

The photo in some way looks like them.Lindsey with no beard does look like Jim Croce or Gabe Kaplan of Welcome Back Kotter with the mustache .Stevie looks like Stevie with the hair.very cute.

After much deliberation...I reblogged ths on Tumblr...I was thrown off by the guy as well....but I really think it is the odd angle of his face...I am pretty confident...imo...this os them.

Update from the person who owned the photo from someone who emailed him on facebook:

"He said his wife & her ex-husband were friends with Lindsey during the 'Fritz' days & his wife was at this wedding but did not take the picture. Her ex-husband got 'Fritz' a few gigs back in the late 60's. I e-mailed to to see about what year this was & ect. Pretty cool! He's shocked that it's gotten this much attention!"

Did you see my update above? The person obviously just found it in their wife's photos. He didn't even know it was a big deal. Think how many Fritz / BN pics are laying around in collections or in photo albums. People probably look at 'em as fond memories of their college days and reminisce about what they were doing. They're not looking at it as a piece of music history. Or they make scratch their head and say, "Who are these people? Don't remember Uncle Bob playing the guitar!"

In my opinion he looks more like Peter Green, in the early Fmac days, than Lindsey.

It looks like them to me, pre-FM, maybe right before they joined? Stevie's dress is beautiful.

As far as Lindsey is concerned, look at the hands. Those hands look like Lindsey's to me.
