He rambles to a point where he's rivaling Mick's verbosity now.

I think I said in an earlier post, Christine's gonna need that whistle because b/w Finn and Stevie--if they can sing 5 songs before the curfew hits, it will be a miracle.
What was Kristen's hashtag....#sorryneilitshardtolistentoyou.....She's so right!!!

If he starts to give a “Don’t Dream It’s Over” story and Stevie continues to do a 7 minute ”Gypsy” story they’ll be down to a 17 song set.

I know they are trying to sell the guy as part of this band but it’s so jarring to hear him talk about the songs and he just goes on and on endlessly.

Some good songs over the last few days
Imperial Hotel
Go Your Own Way early out take
Loves a hard game to play
Honey Hi
Second Time Around
When it comes to love

Learned Honey Hi was inspired and written for Christine's father
Christine was the only member who enjoyed recording Tango in the Night
Stevie went to Paris every Saturday to get her hair done during Mirage recording
Christine is still not sure why the album was called Tusk. She said your guess is as good as hers.
Christine and Mick love Monday Morning

Still have not heard any Lindsey solo

and considering he's still very much alive
  2. how there's no reason whatsoever to go listen to Neil try to honor LB's singing when for 1/10th of the price, in intimate venue, you can go see the original himself!
I've heard Arnel Pineda speak similarly about singing Steve Perry's songs with Journey. It's the typical Replacement Singers' Rap, I guess. The difference is that Steve Perry hasn't toured in ages (since he left Journey, I believe) so going to see him perform hasn't really been an option, like it hopefully will be with LB.

I've seen FM and LB 3 or 4 times each and it's hard to say which shows I've enjoyed more. I do look forward to seeing Lindsey solo at least one more time. And, dammit, he better add "Countdown" to the set list!

And, um, what song is WMYTYTO?

Yes! Countdown is my absolute favorite Lindsey solo track and why he has never really played it (was the one Letterman show and some radio interview thing the only times he’s ever done it?) bugs the hell out of me!

Did anyone here Lindsey this morning introducing Second Hand News. He referred to Stevie as "someone we all know".

Me loves it!! I'm hearing that thumping John McVie bass line and Danny sings like an angel.

Oddly enough, I’ve heard his DDIO story and it was short and sweet. He was at his brother’s house, not having a great day, sat at the piano, and had the song almost instantly. Basically, it’s like the Songbird story.

And hopefully he is as succinct as Christine would be in telling it!

Wow does tambourine witch avoid the fact the it was LINDSEY who insisted she was asked to be in FM. The way she tells it "they asked US to be in the band" totally avoids that detail and it's on purpose. Feeling guilty tambourine witch?

Nothing is as strange to me as Stevie saying she wanted and fought for SYW to be a double album....
