Question stupid question?

Yesterday I was watching Men In Black again. Fun! But did you notice that somewhere in the movie someone says that something is going to replace CD and that he sighs: 'so now I have to buy The White Album again...'
Stupid question, but is this line about OUR White Album? That would be so much fun!

Anna

Default I'd like to think so, but...

He was probably referring to the more famous Beatles' White Album. But hey, we can always pretend he was talking about ours - it's so much better! ;-)

hey, no question is stupid. ok? ummmmm, i hope they're talking about the mac.

hey now i have some questions: are all untitiled ablums called white albums? i mean, does the cover have to be ALL white in order to be called a white ablum? if it has like a dot in the corner or something, but has no title, is it called the dot album?

i hope i didn't confuse anyone besides myself.

Nope..they are most definetly talking about, what I believe is the most famous "White Album" and that's the Beatles...

A lot of people (except of course the fans) don't even know that the White Mac album is reffered to as the White Album...but I know when I first got into the Mac...I was SO excited about that..hehe...anyway...yeah...I'm pretty sure they're talking about The BEatles...

I don't believe this is the case. Sometimes I've heard that referred to as "blank title". The English word "blank" is derived from the Latin word for white, but in English it does not refer to the color, but to the absence of something. When something's gone, you get a big white space where it should be! lol

If you already knew this, sorry, but I had a Spanish friend who made this mistake because "blanco" means white in the Latin-based Spanish language, and I thought perhaps you had, too. Like I said, if not, I'm not trying to be condescending! :-)

ROTFLMAO! The dot album!!!! Thanks mimi, that is hilarious!! I don't give a rats behind about the Beatles white album, but I did hear Stevie say, "Fleetwood Mac, Fleetwood Mac" which just sounds....redundant. I think albums that have a white background are called white albums, but what about purple backgrounded albums that are self-titled, are those called, the purple album? LOL Who knows?
