Still don't own a player. The Blockbuster guy always makes a point to tell me they have on DVD whatever video I bring up. He's half my age & cops a little attitude with me about how I can still not have a player. Makes me want to wait even longer to get one.
Maybe I'll have one in time for the next big Mac DVD release.

because I waited forever before I bought a cell-phone (Only have had one since Aug.'01) and people gave me grief about NOT having one before hand (Btw, I still find 'em to be a nuisance!!!)

Brian, did you see Rush's guitarist was arrested this week for drunken behavior in Naples, FL. Sad - but come on who hasn't done that once in their lives

My only DVD's were LOTR and SYW.

X files seasons 5, 6, 7 and 8. These are my favorite dvd's!!

I also just got Dave Matthews live in NY for Christmas. I'm not a fan so much but my mom really wanted me to have it for she is a big fan.

This year I want to get My So Called Life on dvd, some AbFab, more X Files ( and the movie), a bunch of movies ( Green Card, GWTW, Two for the Road, Educating Rita, American Beauty, High Fidelity, Terms of Endearment, Remains of the Day...sooooooo many more!) but I don't even know if half of these are even on DVD. I guess I will find out..

Ah, yes, those crazy days of my youth, days of spitting blood on cops.

We are now the proud new owners of the complete Monty Python DVD set! I got a killer price on Barnes and Noble online so I threw in Life of Brian and Meaning of Life as well. I always liked Monty Python, but now I'm seeing some stuff that I had never seen before (like stuff after John Cleese left) and it's HYSTERICAL! CARIBOU! GONE! It's good to know I haven't already seen all the good stuff!

Alex Lifeson always seemed so quiet! Ah well, Canadians and their beer! Rock and Roll...

And for the record I don't have a cell phone, and while I DO have a DVD player, it's a combo unit with a VHS as well. I have too many 15-20 year old bootleg tapes to be without VHS!

I just bought No Doubt's Rock Steady Live DVD... I still have yet to watch it, along with all of the DVDs that came with my No Doubt boxed set... Maybe I'll do that later this afternoon .

Oh, and I find DVDs to be the biggest P.I.T.A, even though I have quite a few of them... Stupid technology

I bought my dad The Godfather boxed set and season 1 of The Sopranos for Christmas. I bought my mom Sex and the City seasons 1-4. That's the most recent to come into our house.

Jake, you can have one of our DVD players. There's one for like, each TV in the house and my parents don't even know how to work them.

I got Finding Nemo on DVD for Christmas and then, after Christmas, I bought From Justin to Kelly on DVD! I can't wait to get this in the mail so I can see the Justin scenes that were cut from the final product.

I got "Clerks" and "Y Tu Mama Tambien" for Christmas on DVD.

I've also bought "PCU" and "Empire Records" recently.
