Yes I saw that and was wondering why no one commented on that yet. Is this new news? Or did she mean Buckingham/McVie?

But it could be Fleetwood Mac. I mean they already have 2 shows scheduled so why not just do 13 more?

She also said they will be in London in 2019, hopefully confirming a 2018-2019 farewell world tour.

Do you all think they really won't release this in CD form?

Yes, pretty certain it will be a physical CD release. Christine said;

'You can buy it on iTunes and vinyl – it will be available everywhere!'

I'm sure she meant iTunes and vinyl as well as CD. I don't think it likely they'd skip CD and have a vinyl release- there'd be no sense in that. If its available everywhere then that will mean supermarkets etc.

Agreed. If vinyl, then CD by default.

The thing is, I don't agree that we are supposed to be supportive about group members, necessarily. Trolling behavior is not acceptable. If it appears that your intent is just to rile people up, once we are conclude that is the intent, then it's not tolerated.

But stating an opinion that has the effect of offending someone (not the intent), I'm not particularly concerned. I think being unsupportive is fine. In fact, even when I am supportive, I tend to be unsupportive. My feeling about most things that I am a fan of is: I am madly in love, so I can criticize all I want.

I am psychotic about Matthew Rhys, but I could mock about 200 things concerning him in a heartbeat.

I mean, that's the mentality I have. The Ledge is not going to be a positive place, in the sense that you mean.

My intent is definitely not to rile people up, I am surprised that you would assume that was my intention. I just believed that you would want this to be a positive place, not negative, where people shared opinions and their love for FM not direct criticism or abuse of band members. Surely it must be your aim to have more happy and participating Ledge members rather than less?

I was not saying your intent was to rile people up. I was not using the word "you" specifically. It was a general you. What I intended to say is that I discourage the intent to rile people up, from posters in general. If they are saying things with no other purpose than to upset someone's fans, then the moderators and I discuss that and we stop that, if we believe that is occurring.

But I don't discourage posts about band members that may offend their fans. You are wrong: it is NOT my aim to have a more happy and participating Ledge. That is not where my head is. I do not discourage direct criticism of band members. And people who want a place where band members are not criticized, should go find one.

Not necessarily. Some artists have taken to exclusively selling their albums on vinyl and giving away their online. Once something is digitized, it can be easily shared over the internet, while vinyl is considered by some to be a unique experience that can only be had by buying vinyl. Not saying that will be the case with Buckinghan McVie, but it wouldn't surprise me.

I don't personally agree about new vinyl releases. Unless an album is recorded on track tape and mastered specifically for vinyl on reel tape, the difference is minimal, IMO.

I did think that it might be a novelty to release digital, and vinyl only. But knowing Christine, she meant every media and not everywhere.

However, you are right, she could have meant just the two. I would probably buy the album for the artwork.
