i'm re-re-re-reading the first one ... again.

i've never gotten any of them at midnight, but i have gotten the last 3 books the first day they were announced. because i'm crazy like that. i don't regret it, though, i'm right there with the HP hype too.

oh, and LOTR. i enjoy the LOTR hype too.

I used to be a HP fan, but after finishing the 4th book I lost interest in HP altogether. Maybe it was because of the movies. I thought that the first 2 were unwatchable and the 3rd mediocre-however I really enjoyed the 4th movie.

Will the 7th book be the last?

The seventh book is supposed to be the last That's when Harry will (or is supposed to) graduate from HOgwarts...

And as per the "snape situation" I did mean theone in Half Blood Prince....I just didn't want to name it in a way that gives anything away.

That reminds me...slightly OT...my sister and brother in law were talking and said, "we haven't watched Love Actually this year yet..." my nephew (big Harry Potter geek) asked, "what's Love Actually?" And my brother in law answered, "that's the movie in which PRofessor Snape and Professor Trelawney are married..." My nephew was quite perplexed...

lol, not unless that $40 million goes fast.

as for the book, I'm so excited that they finally announced the title. I really hope they announce a projected finish date soon, 'cause I know I'll be at Barnes & Noble come midnight that night, trying to get my hands on a copy.

Thumbs up Well...

Deb bought herself a copy this morning, but she has yet to look at the end of the book so as to not spoil the ending.

I would buy Christy a copy, but she's not big on reading as she once was...

i read parts of the leaked version a few days ago, because i am a horrible person and couldn't wait. but i did buy a real copy and finished the whole thing properly today. i can't believe it's all over and there will never be another harry potter book to speculate about!!

i don't want to post spoilers for anyone who hasn't finished yet, but i cried at least 5 times during the book. total sap, i am.

Cool ending of book 7

It ended in a way I thought it should. I actually thought "what if" in my own mind about what actually happened (meaning I had already guessed parts of the ending)... It should make for an interesting movie.

I finished reading it a couple of hours ago. And no I'm not going to spoil it for anyone.

It's very good though.
