I've thought about that. Can dogs be diagnosed with pica? Who cares, I'm saying that's what he's got.

Food wise, he'll eat most stuff people give him. Items include beer (relax, small amounts people!), peanut butter and the usual ham/beef/lunchmeat/etc.

Our cats go wild for the smell of pizza too. Bacon is another one. Mrs. Bouvier is crazy for the smell of linguine & clam sauce, but once I let her lick the plate & she ran after only 1 taste.

Domino, my cat when I was growing up, loved nacho cheese flavored snacks. Doritos & Bugles were his faves. He wouldn't chew open the bag or box though - he's open it up & take them out one at a time with his paw & eat them as if he had hands. He also used to do this with empty mayo jars, trying to get the remnants off the sides of the jar. Oh, and he'd hop up from the floor to the counter to the fridge to the hood over the stove & stare at my mom cooking - we were terrified he's either jump down & try to grab something hot, or just plain fall into a pot. Neither ever happened. Great cat.

I think it came from Restoration Hardware. I got it as a gift years ago.
