Default Ethics Test

This test only has the one question, but it's a very important one.

By giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally. The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a very deep decision.

Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous. Please scroll down slowly and give due consideration to each line.

You are in Florida, Miami to be specific. There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of biblical proportions.
You are a photojournalist working for a major newspaper, and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless.

You're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you...some disappearing under the water. Nature is unleashing all of its destructive fury.

Suddenly you see a man floundering in the water. He is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken down with the debris. You move closer...somehow the man looks familiar.

You suddenly realize who it is.

It's George W. Bush!

At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him under... forever.

You have two options:

You can save the life of G.W.Bush,
or
you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the death of one of the world's most powerful men.

Continue to the question once you're completely immersed in this impossible situation.

Would you select high contrast color film, or would you go with the classic simplicity of black and white?

Definitely black & white.

So where does that place me on the ethics scale?

Exclamation Depending on how I am feeling...

will reflect if I save this man or not....Believe me there are alot of people in the world I would never save who most worship and adore (And some of those people are liked by a majority on this website).

I'd have to save that S.O.B.

But I'd say:

"Listen up, DINGLETARD! I'll save your pathetic ass on ONE CONDITION!! YOU WILL RESIGN THE PRESIDENCY AS SOON AS YOUR SHORTS DRY OUT AND YOUR PENIS GOES BACK TO "NORMAL SIZE" SO I GUESS THIS COUNTRY IS SAFE for a while, eh? HEHEHEHEHEH!!!! !!"

Color. Absolutley color. I want it documented in all it's vivid glory. Hopefully he will have shed some blood to add to the colorful glory of it all.

Too funny.

With the knowledge that doing so would result in even more people dying for no reason at his hand? I wouldn't be able to live myself if I saved him.

I'd hand the camera to someone else to take the pic of us and then I'd save him. DUH! :-p
