LB- murrow CM- as long as you follow SM- goodbye baby the stinkers- LB- make me a mask CM-hollywood (actually i'd rather choose the never ending nagging horror which is World Turning, but since it's CM & LB's combined blame, it gets only an honorary mention) SN-either gypsy or say you will, i really can't decide.

Seriously, I love that one and I think it's close to the isolationism of "That's All For Everyone" in a way. You still wanna go on with this or shall I compare his entire work to Tusk songs? Wait a minute, that's a potential chance to criticize LB for others, I must cover it up. And you probably know he has a tune called "Suppression", right? Written in the Rumours-era and the lyrics were sold at the It's Only Rock'n'Roll auction last year.

And if you want to compare anything with "that's all for everyone", than save your time, Gaius, that's his " God Only Knows " vocally and melodicly. You can write such a thing once in your life. Although I think he could be capable of doing it again if he and Stevie stretch out and start a Macalbum from startpoint zero, building up melody with Stevie's input next to his. Thinking (dreaming) of that, he really got me when Stevie said to him in the latest doc, while recording the backup vocals for "I am waiting", "maybe i can figure out something cool for the Oh Yeahs", he responded-obviously proud of his own ohyeahs and I agree-: you don't have to sing the Oh Yeahs! Well how can you reject such an offer! I would have thought: Let her figure something out and put that only on the last Oh Yeah of the song. I am sure she would have done something real good. Sorry. I am starting a whole new topic here.... gerald (*)edit: I forgot, but searched and found the title: On The Wrong Side. Never heard it. If anybody happens to have that one: I'll be very thankful! hidko@wanadoo.nl

I'm going to limit myself to one song each. Otherwise, it'll just turn into a huge, ridiculous list. I take exception with Stevie because her stuff is just too amazing to only pick one song.
Best: Stevie- Silver Springs or Sara Lindsey- Red Rover Christine- Songbird Worst: Stevie- Gate and Garden (solo) Lindsey- Not That Funny Christine- Everywhere
