I always thought Ooh My Love built to such a crescendo or climax when she changed tense that it seemed like Stevie was acknowledging the moment. Almost like she was saying "alright, yes, it's me, I'm the one!"
I think Stevie was making a real effort to make her songwriting less cryptic with both the Other Side of the Mirror and Street Angel. The meaning of Doing the Best That I Can is certainly much more obvious than most of her other songs. |

The song choices would have been awesome for the tour! Of course, as it was, these were some of the best vocals ever from any solo tour. But to have LWTG or OML?
