Default 1980 live album out of print?

I've just got myself a copy of the 1980 live album, and it seems like it's becoming increasingly scarce.

You can still get it from Amazon, but the UK site is charging £46 ($67) and is quoting a 4-6 week lead time!

So it seems like the 1980 live album may be out of print, in which case if you haven't got it, then now's the time. Although it's not FM at their best, there are a few cracking tracks, like I'm So Afraid, which is surely the definitive version, and worth the price alone (although maybe not $67).

Holy ****, $67! I bought it probably two or three years ago at Media Play on sale for $25. How can anyone wonder why people download music...$67 for a double CD from twenty years ago.

I saw it Sam Goody Sunday and it was I believe 30 bucks. I doubt that it is out of print, I think it's scarce because it's a double disc, live album.

Okay her's a question....was on ebay last night and they had the Buckingham Nicks CD.....Anthem Records Collectors Edition...11 songs, and it went for $142.50

My question is why was this CD worth so much?

Question ????B/N on CD????

I'm confused...have they released a version of B/N in cd?
I wasn't aware that Lindsey and Stevie had given consent
for that, am I wrong??!! Anthem Records you say? I haven't
heard of any on ebay that weren't CDR'S, that's very interesting.
If it is a legitimate cd I can see that it would go for BIG bucks
since it's probably really hard to come by. I don't know that
I would pay anywhere near that for one, but someone did I
guess! I 'm used to finding the good bargains myself...the
Live album you guys were talking about...I got mine on vinyl,
in really good condition for a dollar! And my B/N also on vinyl
for $12 from Canada.
To each his own, I guess.

Thumbs up I paid...

about $11 for my 2 cassette tape version of "Fleetwood Mac Live" last summer. It sat at the music store for several weeks until I decided to buy it...Still a bargain.

The CD of Buckingham/Nicks that is on eBay on Anthem Records is a high quality bootleg. I have talked to a couple of people who had purchased it and they said it was indeed a higher quality bootleg, But one that they say is worth the price (Not in my opinion though)...I'll just stick to my original cassette copy which I dubbed off onto Cd...lol...Brian

Any label that purports to have Buckingham Nicks CD is just doing like everybody else and burning it. I'm sorry, but the people that bid that much have been SO ripped off and I feel sorry for them - and angry at the seller for their pretend "official label" version.

Unhappy I agree with ya...

Nancy, The seller should be booted off of eBay. Thankfully I received my first version of Buckingham/Nicks on Cd from someone from here on "The Ledge" who added "The Gift Of Screws" along with it...Didn't have to pay a cent for it, Just a 1:1 trade...Brian

Arrow BN not on CD!!!

EVERY ONE WHO IS A FM FAN NEEDS TO KNOW THAT BUCKINGHAM NICKS IS NOT LEGITIMATELY ON CD!!!!! If you want a burned CD-R, I got mine from Ebay about a year ago and the seller put some demos on there, like Nomad, Without You, Cathouse Blues, Sorcerer, etc. and I am quite happy with what I paid, about 20 I believe, can't remember the EXACT price. I just recently got the BN ALBUM from Ebay as well, EXCELLENT shape, gatefold, and sounds GREAT, no skips or anything!! I am gonna have it framed, and put it up where it belongs, on the wall. As for the Live album, GEEZ, 67 bucks is TOO HIGH, I am looking for the actual ALBUM, and it's tough to find on ebay. I have the CD, got it from amazon.com, I think. I love going to Half Price Books too, they have some good records there, if you go on a good day, I have many copies of Rumours, FM, Mirage, Tango, and the solo records, I recently found Christine's 1984 album!! That was a GREAT buy at like less than 5 bucks!! WOOHOO for Half Price Books!

I don't own the live album on cd (well, authorized copy, ) but I do have it on vinyl. I got it for $7 at a record store. Sadly, it's only got one record, because someone mistakenly stuck a Neil Young record into one side. Not that it matters, because I don't have a record player anyways!

Well this guy must be getting rich, he relisted it again today. He starts it out at 14.99 and buy it now for 60.00.

Check it out, go to ebay, hit search, click search by item #, the # is 880669552. It's the same seller, just look at what he says.

Default I have never ever...

...seen that album in any record store. Not in the "real" ones, that is. (Not counting the "virtual" ones).

If wer'e talking about the "Live" double CD as opposed to vinyl album and your'e living in Britain, then Tower Records in london sell it, ( they had LOADS of copies, before Xmas) for £25.00.
YES... I thought that was a bit too expensive, but hey, it was an early Xmas present to myself! Great disc too.
