I really would like to hear Little Lies. I don't know why they didn't do it for The Dance; they certainly said that they rehearsed it, and I thought it sounded fine on the Shake the Cage tour. However, I seem to remember that Christine said they couldn't make it work in 1997...

I just want to take a moment to say guys, can you really believe this is happening right now? All of the stars have aligned. I never ever thought this was going to happen. I've had a mad crush on Christine and her music since 8th grade. I had my friend buy me In the Meantime while she was in London when it first came out. My 8th grade self is flipping out, and I am so happy.
Can you even believe this thread is real? I never thought in my life that I would see the things that are happening right now, and I am so excited, and knocked out. Can't wait to talk to all of you guys about this stuff. I have been listening to FM Live all week while cleaning.

Isn't It Midnight is making everyone's list.
One time on FM Legacy we had a poll and we voted I Know I'm Not Wrong as the best song and FM did I Know I'm Not Wrong on tour. Coincidence or no? I just hope if we all keep saying Isn't It Midnight it will happen. I worry because Lindsey may not think of this one. I hope Stevie and Christine remember how great it sounded when they performed it live without him and let him know. Michele |

I want her to do Little Lies. We've never heard the Rumours lineup do that live.

Another vote for Little Lies! It was the first Fleetwood Mac song I ever consciously paid attention to when I was about 6/7 and I still love it to this day!
Spare Me a Little, Why, Believe Me from the pre-1975 days....and Brown Eyes, Oh Daddy, Over and Over, and Hold Me. I'm sure none of these will happen...either way I'm pumped at the premise of being able to see all 5 of them on stage at once! |

"why" do I think why is very possible? Stevie and Lindsey have each thrown in 1 or 2 surprises on the last 3 tours. Im sure Christine doesnt want to come back just to play all her hits. I'm sure she's itching to play a rare song of hers. Stevie and Lindsey relied heavily on their tusk songs since they both have a ton of awesome rarities from tusk. Christine could also jump on the tusk bandwagon. Bt I feel like if she has input shed rather play a mystery to me song. In a recent interview she listed mystery to me as her top 3 albums with rumours and fm 75. She didn't mention tusk. And why was done as late as the rumours tour. And it was done on the midnight special with the rumours band.
Do I think its likely? No. Do I think it's more possible then some others think? Yes. And I just think it has a final song vibe.

You Make Loving Fun - one of her biggest hits Say You Love Me - regular style, but with lots of piano! Songbird - gotta close the show with this one her alone on stage Don't Stop - ditto Over My Head - that funky version from '77/79 World Turning - wanna hear her and Lindsey together again Newer-ish songs Isn't it Midnight - love the '87 live w/Rick & Billy, besides Christine needs some rockers! Over and Over - hasn't been done since '79? Oh Daddy - not done much, but done in '97? Why - would love to hear a striped back harmony version of this one Little Lies - just curious how it would sound since its such a studio perfection Temporary One - oh the irony if they do this one....! |
