Talking I hope this works!

Hey, everyone! I just got high speed internet recently!!! So, I thought I'd share an mp3 or two. I hope this link works http://www.sendspace.com/file/6djti6

This one is a demo of "Save Me" -- I'm not sure where I got it from, but it's pretty cool. Some of you regular Ledgies probably already have this, but I figured I should share with those who might be new around here.... :-)

I've always liked this version better than the album version, mainly because of John's little bass solo in the beginning.

Andrea, congratulations on finally getting high speed internet!

Thank you, Andrea. I really enjoyed this. Is this a demo or an alternate take? It sounds a bit too polished to be the former.

Well, maybe I used the wrong term. It could just be an alternate version. Honestly, I can't remember where it came from, it was just on my computer -- I think maybe it was on a "Behind the Mask" demos and outtakes disc I got from someone -- I haven't gone through my CDs in ages! Whenever I listen to music, it comes from either my computer or my iPod! LOL

Boy, how times have changed.... And I don't turn 30 until September!

Yeah, same here! That bass thing just added something to the song, didn't it?

And you wouldn't believe how long it took for my brother and me to talk our parents into getting high speed internet. For a long time, my dad was like, "it's too complicated, you have to get the phone company (or the cable company) to come in your house and install expensive stuff" and "it's not worth the money". And even my mom was like, "I don't need high speed internet -- all I do is email and order stuff online" (Never mind that both my brother and I were taking HOURS, sometimes literally DAYS to download files from iTunes and other such sites!!!)

But, to make a long story short, now both my parents are just astounded at how fast their favorite sites come up. And my mom was thrilled to be able to go to the CBS site to watch the "Survivor" finale that she missed. You can't do that on dial-up!!! And now it is so wonderful to be able to enjoy YouTube and streaming video and stuff!!! Even my dad said he wished he'd gotten high-speed sooner.....

My brother and I are both thinking "we told you so" though we try not to bug our parents too much with it.....
