Default The Shopping Thread

Hey guys,

I love hearing about stuff that people buy, and I love buying stuff, so I thought I'd start this thread so we can chat about stuff we've just gotten, have, or want to get. Whatever. I know Amber got that fabulous dress and I really want to see a picture of her in it!

I just bought these kitten heeled black leather boots from Newport News and they are to die for. They were cheap too!

http://www.newport-news.com/shop/Pro...=&pageindex=24

I also got this beaded corset top but the photo doesn't do it justice. I love this thing, it's so pretty and it was also fairly inexpensive!

And I suddenly want this ring but definitely have to at least sleep on the decision to buy!

Okay Ledgies, show me your stuff.

Woot! Shopping! That ring is gorgeous, btw. You should totally buy it.

I just bought myself this t-shirt that I've been coveting forever, because I'm a dork:

http://www.glarkware.com/securestore...6471415.2.html

and a dorky Alias-related button and magnet from the same store:

http://www.glarkware.com/securestore...6402013.2.html

For V-Day I got my dream purchase, the Fresh fragrance index:

http://www.sephora.com/browse/produc...dPaginate=true

which is encouraging me to buy full size bottles of pomegranate anise, violet moss, and bergamot citrus. Yummmmy.

Score, Suz! love the stuff. I just got an ipod shuffle (240 songs) two pairs of pants (which are just regular) some perfume (I have never bought perfume!) and that lip stuff that Hayley recommended in the other thread. I also got a new pair of rollerblades with detachable wheels, and some new running shoes, Asics. Hmm, I guess it's not as effective without showing the pictures, but oh well, that's what I got.

Mmmmm, I love your V-day purchase especially. I can just smell the scents. Here is my happy V-day to me purchase:

I absolutely adore this watch, it is so pretty! The photo doesn't even do it justice because the mother of pearl face has so many other colors reflected in it.

Ahh, a fellow shopper who tells me I "should" buy that ring.

Wow! I want one of those iPods, tell me how you like it. I also got pants from newport-news.com, their jeans are only $17 each if you buy 2 pairs! I got the boot cut low rise stonewashed ones. They are pretty comfortable and they don't look like cheap jeans.

I love roller blading and have a decent pair but I never use them. I can't stop in traffic but in a safe area I am fine. I didn't realize I couldn't stop very well until I tried roller blading in Somerville and almost skated right into a car. I grabbed a stop sign and nearly ripped my hand open trying to stop myself!

What kind of perfume did you get? My favorites are Tresor by Lancome and Angel, mmmmm.

Ooh, that watch IS pretty!

I didn't buy the Index for myself, it was actually a gift- a really fantastic gift. I smell so good. So, so, so good. I love Fresh fragrances- the index scents are great for layering. Today it's tobacco caramel and fleurs de chocolat. I totally want to make out with me.

Amber! Let me know how you like the Lip Venom. I think it kicks ass.

Unhappy Dang

I haven't bought crap really. I bought 3 LP's on Ebay (still waiting on them...sent media mail ) and in 9 days, I'm going to Oklahoma to see Keith Urban in concert, so two concert tickets are on my credit card bill. Also, the hotel we are staying at is on there. I haven't been buying anything except necessities.

I may be spending some cash in OKC next week.

I got NOA, by Cacharel. They make Anais Anais, which i used to love - I smelled NOA once a couple years ago and liked it, I hope I still feel the same when it gets here! I just turn a circle to stop on my Rollerblades. The new ones will be nice cause i won't have to bring shoes everywhere I go on them, I just snap the wheels off when i go inside somewhere.
