I had to do it. I shook it up and voted Crystal. It was tough. But, this version is just perfection.

Frozen Love has a life all it's own. It reigns supreme anyway!

with SN's singing (i'm being nice while sounds of crow come to my mind, i can't stand her way of singing on most of BN album. plus strongly dislike LB's voice at the time), i can never quite make it to do guitar solo on FL.

Well, I can understand your taste as far as preferring LB -- but you don't like him in BN??

Voted Crystal - the BN version is my favourite. Beautiful. Was tough though as Frozen Love is epic. Both great songs.

I think she herself is probably not happy with her singing on BN. Now, I don't think the reason for her singing is that she was deliberately holding back or just concentrating on making Lindsey look good, as she has said, but I think she is aware that she does not necessarily sound great on the album. Maybe she had a helium addiction -- ahead of her time.

THIS blows my mind. Lindsey singing Crystal is I can't get more than three words into it when Stevie sings it - and I actually like a fair amount of her stuff!

This was especially tough since the two songs are so night and day. I really do love them both. I went with FL though, 'cause I figure he could still do it in concert one day whereas Crystal for me worked best when he was young. Not much of a reason, but it's the best i can do!

I voted "Crystal." I know FL is more of the cult classic, but "Crystal" is just stunning to me and I love Lindsey's voice on it.
