I know that first question will probably give poor ol' chiliD a heart-attack, but you're pretty new to Mac fandom, so there's no harm in asking. Anyway, to answer you... yes, Peter Green is still alive.
And thankfully so.

So far none of the former members of Fleetwood Mac have passed away... and I hope it stays that way for a good long while.

Hi, Pip.

Sheryl Louis is Stevie's co-manager, but the head honcho is still Howard Kaufman.

Well, all I can say is I could probably live for a year on any of their pocket change...

I would think Lindsey has the most money but then he now will have the expense of raising and educating three kids. The cost of that may surprise him

We know Mick spends like crazy-who knows how many million went up his nose?

Chris probably isn't hurting at all either.

Stevie has made pots of money but she has had more expenses too-and didn't she have some trouble with the IRS back in 1991? That must have cost a bit...

How come we never hear anything about John?

Anyhow, I love them all dearly and while I wish I were one of Stevie's pet charities , I don't feel they shouldn't have the money. At least they've worked hard and brought pleasure to millions. You can't say that about Enron, for example...

Rolling Stone had her listed a few months ago, as #34th richest, with 25 Million dollars. I think this was among English rock stars.

That was in Q Magazine, I believe about 5 or 6 years ago. That 25 million was in English pounds. That probably comes to close to 40 million U.S. dollars. Not that an extra 15 million dollars makes that much of a difference.

Me too.

But I thought I read he want crazy or something... The only history book I have of the Mac is Rumours Exposed and I sort of skipped to the Buckingham Nicks era.

There's actually a board here on The Ledge with his name on it if you want to read some current stuff.

You also have to understand that Warners is willing to work with Stevie, give her more money, better leverage, and a good deal for a reason- they like to stay on good terms with her because of her association with Fleetwood Mac. They wouldn't mind not having a huge moneymaking record in return for the success of the Dance and the FM catalog, not to mention the possibility of future releases. They were attempting to do the same with Lindsey and his solo project until the newer regime came in and basically decided that that relationship wasn't worth coddling him over and losing that kind of money.
I read an interview in Rolling Stone a year or so ago, and they said that even the top artist will never make over $3 a CD, and on average people make about $1 - $2 per CD, of course all depending on the advance they were paid. Some artists prefer a larger advance, and will opt to not make hardly anything PER CD.

Wow this is one huge post, I honestly don't think any one is trying to puff anyone up here, but maybe that is just because I'm new, I believe that they are all most likely rolling in it at the moment, but now they are at the age where they are controllong the money a lot better, I tend to think just on his personality that Lindsey has been the wisest with his money, but I think everyone else is probably taking lessons off him now, because they want to make sure they have a nice healthy, nest egg for retirement. That doesn't mean they won't go out and spend but they are probably gonna be more careful nowadays.

In relation to the comment before about the how Stevie wouldn't be qualify for a mortgage I tend to think this was said as a hypothetical situation put to her by her mother, ie: if you didn't have millions of dollars in your current state you wouldn't be able to get a mortgage.

I think all in all we just have to agree to wish all of them best, even though the odds of any of them ever going hungry are unlikely
