Hey Aida, go and get a place right in front of the stage, and keep shouting for "Albatross" and other P.G. numbers!! Just to see his reaction!

Also, keep asking for the actual price of the '59 Les Paul that was sold at auction. I'm sure he'll like that too.

This guitar was practically given to him by a friend (Green) for the price of a Gibson SG that Moore re-sold in the early seventies. This guitar has launched a thousand ships in terms of guitar tone. Custom guitar pickup manufactures have made a lot of money is the last 15-20 years recreating the 1959 PAF pickups with the flipped magnet in the neck pickup. I've read that Gary Moore used the money for the sale of this special guitar for wrist/hand surgery. I hope it strives him to play more like the bombastic guitarist he always was. He can mimic Peter Green, but it's not Peter Green. I don't care if Green doesn't want extra money, someone around him (Mich Reynolds?) should be fighting (with lawyers) for a stake of this auction's final price. The guitar was made famous because of Peter Green, and what was changed to the guitar just prior to Fleetwood Mac, not because it was owned by Gary Moore!

I know the above could never happen, because it was Gary Moore's guitar due to the original monetary transaction. It's just unethical. He's a "friend" after all.

Yeah, I know, it annoys me too. I used to like Gary in his own flashy/rocky style. I can even listen to his "bluesy" numbers like "the hurt inside" and simply enjoy them, even knowing that his blues is (sorry) ...bluff. But this Greeny thing in particular has made me change my mind about him; it's juts difficult to me to just listen to the music and forgetting everything else. Now when I see Gary with maybe BB or anyother or covering Greeny or Rory Gallagher i can't stop thinking he always want to attract the attention mostly on himself.

And the guitar sell episode is to me the worst thing of all. I also think that this guitar is worth what is worth only (and I say only and nos mostly) because of Peter. I hope he has nightmares in the future about this episode in particular, (haha in a Scrooge way...)

It's a psychological thing that I cannot separate anymore from the music itself. To me Peter is so so special not only because is an unique writer/musician/blues lover, I always think Peter is also a unique person. Maybe it's true, that the blues can't be faked. Either you have the blues or you not.

But I will shout for "Parisienne Walkways" haha
