Really enjoyed the full band version of Go Insane. Sounded awesome, Lindsey playing acoustic guitar, and I thought it was really entertaining [in a good way] how Lindsey even could do the low voiced "go insane" lyric. I was crying with laughter.

Trouble was also a full band version, similar to the 92 Out of the Cradle Tour version, with Neil doing the ascending guitar riff.

I also was not a big fan of both ISA and Come. Both have the solo where Lindsey does the Frankenstein impression walking around on stage. I only need to see this maybe one time.

Lindsey used a pick on Under the Skin, and did throw to the audience. I think some of his family was in the front row, so they got it. Along with a sweaty towel at some point.

Also, I did not think it was so good to close with Treason. People where on their feet for the last couple songs, then as the last song, Treason is introduced, which was kinda a downer, people sat down, etc. Would rather have closed with something stronger and known by the audience. Maybe they will change that for the SF show.

Lindsey had a new guitar I had not seen before, not sure what kind. If anyone knows, please send me a note! Was used on "Did You Miss Me", plus a couple of other numbers. Looks kinda like his Turner/Renaissance acoustic electrics, but a smaller body, and a single neck pickup, no soundhole.

I would have liked to see higher attendance. The venue was maybe 75% full. But the people there seemed to be into the show, which was good.

The food was not good at the venue. I didn’t do the prix fixe dinner, but I would have liked better other options. Note for future shows at Mountain Winery.
Thanks for your notes! Do you know where Love Runs Deeper was in the set? Also, how was Don't Look Down?

This was the setlist [as posted earlier], with the addition of World Turning + the drum sampling thing someplace in the middle. Lover Runs Deeper sounded really good, the sound was excellent, full, and vocals were good.

Don't Look Down was a surprise, I remember in the rockline interview he noted they would put more OOTC songs in the setlist, so I was waiting for something. He played his Turner electric, and did acoustic introduction on that guitar as well. I kinda like the 92 OOTC tour version a little better, because he inserted the solo bit on that arrangement, which was omitted last night. But was good, nevertheless.

Set list [+World Turning someplace in the middle]:

Great day

Default one more trivial note...

...the ambiance music, the stuff played over the PA while we were anxiously waiting for LB to take the stage, was...LB music. Guitar instrumentals of some of his songs, I recognized Down On Rodeo. I don't remember this minor touch from the Under the Skin tour.

Also, played the Clash, which I can't complain about, either.

That's actually what I would like on my chest. Unfortunately, it's the back of the shirt. The front has the album cover. I don't necessarily want to go around wearing that.

Just got home from the airport a couple hours ago. Y'all pretty much covered everything. A few notes:

The girl who got the pick and the towel was not a member of LB's family. The family members were all sitting in the raised section to the right of the stage.

I really liked the set list - the GOS songs all sounded great. I thought DYMM was fantastic live, but I really love that song anyway. My only disappointment was that there were not more songs from OOTC.

I thought the crowd was lame - relatively speaking - compared to the Texas crowds I'm used to (and you crazy Texas/OK Ledgies). But yeah, once GYOW was played, everyone was on their feet.

Yeah, the pre-show was music was really cool.

The Mountain Winery is now my 2nd favorite outdoor venue, Red Rocks being #1.

I have a feeling if the album takes off, they'll add more dates. Hopefully, another run through the south.
