Default Preview The New Tori Amos Album

You can now listen to the whole album at www.myspace.com/toriamos

I am actually lovin' the American Doll Posse. Tis very Boys For Bele/Choirgirl era style in some parts but very Little Earthquakes on some of her piano songs. I really like Big Wheel, Teenage Hustling and Fat Slut at the moment.

I don't do leaks. I'd rather wait. Being on myspace makes it legal.

edit: I just realised, we do it all the time with Stevie demo's lol.

Ah well nevermind. what does everyone think of ADP anyway?

Well, that makes two of us. I have downloaded it, but I havn't listened to anything but "Bouncing off Clouds" and "Big Wheel" - I will wait to get the actual album. The response from fans is positive though

Yeh the album is very pele-esque. Very pleased with it. vast improvement from The Beekeeper. I wasn't sure about the whole multiple characters but it works really well. Doesn't beat Choirgirl though (my personal fav)

This is good news. To me though, nothing she has done or will every do will beat "Scarlet's Walk" - it is one of the most sonically beautiful albums I have ever heard...

I like SW but it was a tad boring IMO. I like Choirgirl cause it's so lively and really emotional at the same time. I love the Pink to Venus era (1994-2000) she was so alive during this time. Seem's she has mellowed down since but ADP seems like a strong return. I love pissed off Tori (She's Your Cocaine, Fat Slut, Precious Things, Raspberry Swirl) most but jolly Tori (Happy Phantom) is pretty amazing too.

I thought the sameabout SW, until I sat down and really listened to it - its stunning. "The Beekeeper" and "To Venus.." are my least favourite albums, she just sounds totally uninterested - "Strange Little Girls" isn't that great either, but atleast it was somewhat interesting...

OH. MY. GOD. I love TVAB!! Mostly for the live CD but I like the album too. My top albums are:

1. From The Choirgirl Hotel
2. Under The Pink
3. To Venus And Back
4. Boys For Pele
5. Scarlets Walk
6. Little Earthquakes
7. The Beekeeper
8. Strange Little Girls

When I actually sit down and listen to it, ADP will probably come somewhere around Pele or Venus area.

Nice!

What I love about Tori is that most of her fans have an enitrely different idea about what her best album is - I have yet to talk to anybody that agrees with my view:

1. Scarlet's Walk
2. Under the Pink
3. From the Choir Girl Hotel
4. Little Eartquakes
5. Boys for Pele
6. Strange Little Girls
7. To Venus & Back
8. The Beekeeper

I can't believe you have TVAB that low...or SW that high. I also think LE needs to be lower. Everyone seems to totally love LE and I don't think it's as good as everyone makes out. The Beekeeper I don't own but have heard. I can live without it quite easily. Do you like Bjork?

Should I rearrange my list to suit you?

Yep, I love Bjork - from what I have heard so far, the new album should be cracker

I only have one Bjork album. Everyone raves about Debut but I don't like it. At all. I like "Post" and never bothered with any of her other stuff.

I will bare that in mind next time I am out shopping. I love "Army Of Me" and "You've Been Flirting Again". Does 'Vespertine' have "All Is Full Of Love" on it? Apart from that album I have, "Human Behavior", "Play Dead" and "All Is Full Of Love" are the only tracks I know.
