Default Budweiser Super Bowl ad with Landslide

Just saw a preview clip of new Clydesdale ad--Landslide playing as a foal is born. Clip was on CBS super bowl advert show (8pm Eastern time start, this clip was after 8:30). The clip was brief and I couldn't rewind as the kiddos had the remote. Not a Bud drinker, but I like their ads-so surprised to hear that guitar intro and that familiar voice!

The Superbowl ads always get so much attention. So, this is nice placement.

Is this the first of her songs to be used in a commercial? I can't think of any previous... I can't think of any other FM songs I've ever heard in adverts. Just LB's stuff

I think a GYOW cover was used in a commercial recently.

Video: Budweiser's New Super Bowl Commercial Uses Ponies, Fleetwood Mac, and a Runaway Horse

Not sure why PornHub.com's tame Super Bowl commercial got shot down by CBS while this Budweiser spot featuring the love between a man and a horse will air.

While the Clydesdale commercial is mediocre at best, it does make me want to go drink a beer at 12:10 on a Thursday afternoon. I suppose that's not saying a whole lot though.

Oh, I know. I cry about anything these days. You know how sometimes they have those clips of soldiers coming home and their dogs run and greet them and knock them down, licking them, frolicking with joy? I cry mountains. And I don't even like dogs. I would die if one licked me in the face. Still, I get overcome.

Default Landslide in Superbowl Commercial

I'm haven't seen this posted here, but there is a new Budweiser commercial that will air during the Superbowl. It's with the Budweiser Clydesdales and is called "Brotherhood". It has Landslide being played during the commercial. So cute, here is the link: (not sure if this will work) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2prAccclXs

To be honest, I'm not thrilled. I think appearances in commercials really do taint songs. I can't enjoy songs as much after I've heard them 300 times shilling beer.
I've always been sympathetic to one hit wonders who have to sell their songs, but Stevie certainly doesn't.

She licensed the song because she thought the commercial would not hurt landslide. I also think they paid her almost a million dollars for 30 seconds of the song.
