Just got home and listened to the song to check where Peter's guitar parts come in. You can hear him for a few seconds starting around 1.04 into the song, then for a longer time starting about 2.04. After awhile his guitar fades a bit but it's still there, and there's a stronger section starting about 3.40 into the song. You can't hear him after the louder guitar starts in about 4.10, so I really can't tell if he's playing after that point or not. I like "Nightwatch" as well (although "Hypnotized" is my favorite Welch song by far), and I think Peter's guitar lends an ethereal quality to it - much like a lot of his playing in the early '70s.
