Hurricane Matthew

We are prepared for the worst and hoping for the best here in Miami. This monster storm could devastate parts of the east coast. Its so unpredictable. No one knows for sure if it will make landfall and if so where. Stay safe everyone!!!
They closed the port of Miami which is a very rare event.

My nephew lives down in Jacksonville and he's refusing to evacuate.

Florida dodged a bullet. Matthew never came ashore and the devastating eye wall stayed a hundred miles off the coast. We got some tropical storm wind gusts but that was all. I don't think anyone in Florida had sustained hurricane winds.
How lucky we are. If a cat. 4 hurricane came ashore there would be devastation that would take years to recover from.

I'm glad it did and you are safe. My Aunt called tonight from Winterhaven and she is fine.She said she only got rain and some wind from the hurricane.
