Default I know that somebody has what I am looking for.

Okee dokee...
I have this amazing DVD collection of old Fleetwood Mac performances..
It has like..
The Midnight Special 1976
Rosebud 1977
and some random stuff from the Tusk tour...

There is a version of 'Why' from the Midnight Special that is too much for words... The harmonizing is fantasterrific... totally...
Does anybody have this version or a similar in audio format.. ?
It would make my day.
aaaaaaaaand.... ..I'm searching for the live wild version of 'World Turning', from the Rosebud special, Micks drum solo and all... or... another live version of that song that is just as good?
I would really prefer older versions.. when the Mac was young and limber..
I know that somebody out there can help me cause you guys got it all...
Oh yeah... I read about some sort of something called Rumours Lost Tapes 1&2.. what are these? and do I need to have them in my collection?

woo woo woo... I love the live versions better... they make me feel like I was there... ya dig?
I have this version of Rhiannon Live in Sin City 1977.. and there is this moment at the very end of the song.. when the **** is really hittin the fan.. admist all the intense screaming... you hear Stevie utter this little "yeah.."
man.. That one little word put in the right place in the right song... That feeling that "yeah" gives you..man, it's why I want to be a rock star..
just you wait everybody... pretty soon, you'll be posting on my message boards...
Don't worry, I won't forget you all... drinks on me...ha!
Thanks folks!
Ciao!
Ash

This performace of Why on the Midnight Special in 76 sold me on the two new Macsters. It's my favorite live performance by the Rumours lineup. I didn't want to like these new people after Bob left. They hooked me with the harmonies not to mention LB's sweet guitar and baby blues. Stevie was cute, too. I liked her contributions to this song, but I didn't care for her Rhiannon from this show. World Turning was great... a lot better than the album, I thought.

I love hearing these stories from Ledgies that were there!

Just curious...do you still not care for that Rhiannon, or was that just your initial impression? I LOVE that one!

That performance of Why sold me on the song in general. I especially love when they show all three heads at the same time.

The Rhiannon on it is very nice, even though Lindsey looks silly, and Christine's Hohner Pianet is making a large commotion! (That noise that sounds like whaaaahh! throughout the whole song. You can hear it on many boots as well, but not usually this loud.)

I heard that version of "Why" many months into my obsession. I was like, OMG, what song is THAT?!?! I adore it. One of the best examples of their 3 way harmony, IMO.
