Landslide, Seven Wonders and now Gypsy have all gotten amazing introductions to a totally new generation of people. It's interesting to hear people in their teens and 20s relating to Stevie and her music and really liking both.

Why are people treating this way more then what it is, whether it be a good or a bad opinion? It's a freaking title song for a new Netflix show inspired by the danm song. Simply using the original wouldn't have fit the dark spooky vibe they were going for on this intro.its not meant to be better then original or a re recording of Lindsey's work. Her voice sounds great and it is what is. I Don't get how people are reviewing this like it's a new song off her latest album. I would barely call it a song probably didn't take more then a day or two max of her time.

Exactly...but if one of us were over there saying something like this on the other board we would be run out of town. I truly believe that the best approach to all of this is to just ignore them. Maybe they will go away just because they arent getting attention. It has gotten really old.

So agree...it is beautiful. It is a whole different feel from the original but I love her voice on this and the delicate tone of the whole thing. I sure hope we get the full song somewhere. Bring on the next solo album.

About the 20 minute mark into this interview Stevie says there is so much more material to use. She also talks about how she goes back and forth with Fleetwood Mac. This stuff isn't news to most Stevie fans but it does show her humor-- her humor is very dry but it comes across well. If it were just written out you would miss some of it.

Usually I don't like acoustic versions of perfect songs (see: Layla), but this is really pretty and perfect for the opening credits of the show. Also, I seem to be alone in the Internets of thinking the show is really good, the last five episodes had my heart pounding.

yeah! that's exactly how i feel i just never knew how to describe it. i mean, it's nice enough on the ears but it takes away something from the whole feel of the song when it's in this style.
