tee hee.

I don't know about Christine as much as some of the other members of the band, so I was just curious whether she was uncomfortable with that kind of thing or if she was blabbier like Stevie or Lindsey or Mick might be. But if she DID throw a drink on him, that would be ok and very in keeping with what we love about Christine.

I don't think she's very blabby when it comes to fans. Michele

one more question for those who have done Mick meet and greets in the past.

i am assuming the meet and greet is before the actual concert?

if so, what time is it? Around 4pm-5pm or a bit later?

thanks

Before, it was handled by Live Nation, so I don't know if it will be the same, but you had to get there around 5 or 6, but you wouldn't see Mick right away. The fans sat with the coordinator talked, played a trivia game she had, had drinks. Went to the merchandise stand. There were about 60-90 minutes to kill before meeting Mick.

Yes it was over by then. Keep in mind that the meet and greet I went to didn't happen backstage. It happened in the stage area. They hadn't let concert goers in yet. This time around, they may take people backstage or to a private area, so it might not work the same.

The only time I ever went to another area was when I didn't do the meet and greet with Mick and then they took me to an area next to the stage where the guy controlled the lighting and video, while the other people in our party did do the meet and greet. They forced that poor lighting man to talk to me for 30 minutes

Well, ostensibly you're having FUN! You're mingling with other fans and you're the first to buy merchandise (which now bears faces of the band that are 10 years old). So, the time should just fly by.

Wheee! (I'm getting cheap in my old age. That, and I realized I have about 25 FM-related tee shirts that I never wear because I look awful in tee-shirts...but, I suppose I can just look).

Has anyone received anything from Mick's website about the Meet & Greet? They took my money and sent me a confirmation email for the Columbus show. No details on where to go, when to be there... getting a little worried with it being less than a month out!

I sent them an email yesterday via their support system. This is what they said in reply:

Quote:
Thank you for contacting ground(ctrl) support.

The only item being shipped to you is the ticket. Fan club pre-sale tickets generally ship 2-3 weeks before the event date. As soon as we receive the tickets for your event from the concert promoter, we ship them out that day. You will know that your tickets have shipped when you see the order status has changed to 'FULFILLED'.

The status of all orders can be viewed using this link:
http://www.mickfleetwoodofficial.com/account/orders

If for some reason you do not receive the tickets in time, a list of all ticket purchasers will be provided to the venue box office and they will be able to reissue new sets of tickets to the purchaser at the will call box office on the day of the event upon presentation of a photo ID and receipt. If you do not receive your tickets and it is 3 days before your event, please contact us so that we can notify the venue that you will be asking for reprints.

Have a great time at the concert!

Sincerely,
ground(ctrl) Support

not sure if anyone has seen the chaos of the justin bieber meet and greets before his concerts?

people have moaned that it was a barely 10 second meet, some fans were paired up in photos with people they didnt know - so they got a stranger in the pic and the photographer was shocking - some pics too bright and some too dark and some of Justine Bieber right at the back of the shot as there were too many people in the picture.

and after having a pic taken they are then dragged off by security so the next person/people get their photo taken with him.

and all these terrible photos are put up his website so everyone can see them.

I am wondering if the mick fleetwood meet and greet will be the same - at least i am prepared i guess.

some examples:

these children didnt even get a face shot -

how many people can you get in one pic - JB pushed to the back -

3 fans paid £330/$500 each and they cant even be seen in the pic -

There are no tickets for the Mick meet & greets, it's will call only. I'm sure we'll receive more information via email a few days before the show.

I just logged on and looked and my order status says fulfilled already, and my show isn't until the end of April

I think it is funny that the little queen changed his outfit 3 times(that we know about) for these M&G's.
