Ahhh.. sad news Christy. But I understand he's been 'slipping away' for a few days now. What a champ he was. Was he ever NOT smiling??

It feels lame or weird to talk about FM songs now, but if you think about it, maybe it's what Ray would like best for us to do, be digging the great music!

So I'll comment - this is a crazy GYOW! Tusk tour (I'm guessing from the shouting). (EDIT: d'oh... 'Live' is another one I don't own, lol. At least I had the tour right anyway )

That's awful.

My grandmother actually knew him quite well. She worked at mental health hospital back in the day near Boston and he was patient there for a while there. She got to know him and said he was a fantastic guy, real salt-of-the-earth.

Exclamation Gyow...

This is the GYOW from the Live album.

Yeah, it's sad, and I hadn't heard about his decline. Well, he's playing piano up there for The Big Guy.

Regular party spoiler comment: should we boycott this program if we really are so insistent about getting Bob Welch to the Hall of Fame? After all, they're broadcasting from there!

(Ok, not really. )

It's okay, Joe. I did the same thing with my cousin when my grandfather died. It was before his funeral, and we were joking around, goofing, and my aunt came over to tell us to stop. I thought to myself, "In a few minutes, we are going to his funeral. I am going to be a major wreck for the rest of the day. Cut me some slack."

Speak of the devil....there ya go.

No, I didn't. Scheduling conflicts with my own band.
