New FM documentary on BBC

Just a heads up for UK Ledgies, BBC One is airing a hour-long documentary called Don't Stop on Sunday 1 November. The following Friday (6 November) BBC Four is also having a Fleetwood Mac night, showing this documentary again, Rock Family Trees and the excellent Peter Green documentary, Man Of The World.

Really enjoyed the documentary

The only thing is Stevie still seems prety pissed off with Lindsey....I thought they were getting on this tour ? lol.

She seems to be living or hanging on to the past...she needs to get over the fact that he probably is pretty nice to her now...he's just married to someone else! Love ya Stevie anyway!

lol...I was just thinking about the part of the doc where they were talking about how all the fans started to dress like Stevie and Mick said something about how they used to look out into the audience and they could see thousands of Stevie's and then, to illustrate what they were doing, he did the Rhiannon dance a la Stevie and he sang "Rhiaaaaaaaaaanon." I know it only lasted for a second but I laugh every time I see it.

I was so totally smiling when she almost shouted "shackin'up!!". It underlined the reason why I chose that screenname, I thought she was over that for years now, but it still plays a role- that was completely clear!

It was a good doc. It really flowed. Lindsey playing the rhiannon riff and stevie humming her pianodemo for it was pretty cool....

And the Lindey-on-the-tile-floor-impersonation was hilarious, although she also said: "but then he took those recordings and sped them up, slowed them down, played it though a certain amp" that sounded very respectful and proud.

I loved Lindsey and John showing off the Rhiannon riff too. I forgot about Stevie impersonating Lindsey during the Tusk recordings, I don't know how because it was very funny! And Stevie moaned that they were just waiting around all the time for Lindsey to give them something to do

According to the Carol Ann Harris book they filled their time up in other ways, and I'm pretty certain that was true given how wild they were back then. Stevie seems to have forgotten that.

I was impressed Stevie remembered the exact kind - a Leslie organ speaker. It did sound like she was a bit awed by what he did.
