I hit a jackpot!!

I just bought all these records!! That is 5 bucks for each record, quite a good deal, really!! AND, the pressing of Then Play On with My Dream and When You Say!! I just bought Then Play On at Half Price Books yesterday and it cost me 5 bucks and it isn't an original pressing, it has Oh Well on it!! AAAHH!! Now, I have Penguin, Future Games and the Live 1980 album!! YES!! I am very excited, just wanted everyone to know!! LOL

if you are really into collecting old vinyl i'd suggest searching out a record store in your area.... many places buy sell and trade just vinyl and you can find some AWESOME things for soooo cheap... i have a bunch of FM 45s that were only a buck each from this place in thousand oaks california... most lps from that place (i can't remember the name) cost 2- 7 bucks... i have a copy of bare trees autographed by john that i got for $7!! but if you are looking for something specific (hint to all those who still need a buckingham nicks... this dude has several of them last time i checked which was about a week or two ago) American Pie records in Santa Barbara ca has f*cking EVERYTHING you can think of... i mean rare random things i had never even HEARD of... the phone number is 805 965 2161 and they ship anywhere in the world. the guy who owns it is a little nuts... if you get his voicemail you'll know what i mean... he rambles about vietnam and his exwife... he calls himself Dr. D. anyway...

also... i have found some really cool things in antique stores too... i found lindsey's 1st 2 albums at one and i think i spend $3 for the two of them... anyway... good luck-

WooHOo!!! congrats on your find...I LOVE vinynl.....

And yeah....old hole in the wall record shops are my favorite, I got Buckingham Nicks at one....and Timespace...on vinyl...and Fleetwood Mac Greatest hits...those are the ones I had the absolute hardest time finding...but I did it..oh wait..no...I think I actually got the Timespace vinyl on Ebay...hehehe...I love ebay too...

I just went to Half Price Books on Friday (we don't have any records-only shops around here, unfortunately

) and bought Then Play On, plus another copy of Tusk and HAHTF. I want to frame my records and have them in the hall of my home, when I decide to buy one. HPB are really cheap, I can get some records for 2 bucks, others for 5-10 bucks. Then Play On only cost me $4.98! I love collecting vinyl and really wanted to just get the lot of most of the FM LP's...so I paid that 5 bucks a piece and just got em all! I got the BN LP on ebay for 25 bucks, but it's in EXCELLENT condition.
