Default Playlist - B-sides/Odds & Ends/Rarities

I'd like to do a playlist of Lindsey non-album-track b-sides, non-single soundtrack tracks, collabs, etc.

Can y'all help me build such a playlist? Am I forgetting/missing anything?

I think this might be a fun way to listen to these songs

Here's what I've come up with:

Twist of Fate: The Rarities
Lindsey Buckingham

1. Cool Water - Gypsy (1982) b-side
2. Time Bomb Town - Back to the Future (1985)
3. You and I, Part I - Big Love (1985) b-side
4. Down Endless Street - Family Man (1987) b-side
5. Ricky - Little Lies (1987) b-side
6. Book of Miracles - Seven Wonders (1987) b-side <-----------Did Lindsey write this?
7. Make Me a Mask - 25 Years: The Chain (1992)
8. Goodbye Angel - 25 Years: The Chain (1992)
9. Teen Beat - 25 Years: The Chain (1992)
10. On the Wrong Side - With Honors (1994)
11. Twisted - Twister (1996)
12. Bleed to Love Her - The Dance (1997)
13. My Little Demon - The Dance (1997)
14. Steal Your Heart Away (Original Mix) - Best Buy Presents Fleetwood Mac: Tour '97 (1997)
15. Big Yellow Taxi - A Tribute To Joni Mitchell (2000)
16. Twist of Fate (Original Mix) - Adventures In Wild California (2001)
17. Here Comes the Sun (Live) - ABC New Year's Eve Special (2001)
18. Love Minus Zero/No Limit - Say You Will limited edition (2003)
19. Shut Us Down (Uncut Version) - Elizabethtown (2005)

Cool Water is a song from the '40s by the Sons of the Pioneers, an old (and great) cowboy singing group. It's been covered many times.

I believe Book of Miracles is just the instrumental track for the song that became Juliet. Not sure if LB wrote it or not.

Love Bleed to Love Her, never cared for My Little Demon.

Going off of memory since it has been a while since I've had the 45 in my grubby little hands, but I THINK "Book Of Miracles" is credited to "Nicks/Buckingham".

Your "yay or nay"s are "yay"s.

"Make Me a Mask" from 25 Years: The Chain
Would Mick Fleetwood's Zoo: "I Want You Back" count?

What about "Dancin' 'Cross the USA"?

It was?? As a b-side to what? My 45 of "Holiday Road" doesn't have that as the B-side, it's got some instrumental incidental music from the movie.

Blue Monday, the Fats Domino song? I don't think I have that one.

Default Blue Monday

Blue Monday is a Fats Domino song. LB belts it out while (presumably) Christine McVie plays piano. Interesting because Blue Monday has been noted by LB as one his favorite songs. The disk that I had also had alternate versions of Eyes of the World and a few others. Definitely worth a listen.

Also, I forgot to add Big Yellow Taxi to the list. LB recorded a version of the Joni Mitchell classic for a tribute album (later released, but without the LB version).

LB also covered the George Harrison classic Here Comes the Sun for a New Years special the year Harrison died. He gave it the "Big Love" treatment. The producers did not care for the LB interpretation and they asked him to change it or they were going to pull it. Reportedly, LB threw his guitar across the hotel room. The producers backed down and let LB perform his interpretation live. If you look closely at the video, you can see a hole in his guitar.

Right! Big Yellow Taxi.

ETA: I no longer have Big Yellow Taxi. Where do these mp3s go?

And was Here Comes the Sun ever recorded in the studio? or good live version of it?

Sorry Chili, but is there anyone who can crop this and share it with us all? It sounds MUCH better than the clip on YouTube but it's got too much padding on either side.

HERE COMES THE SUN:

Also, does anyone have an mp3 of the Elizabethtown version of shut us down? I own the entire soundtrack via iTunes but the Sony CD can't be burned/copied.

Wasn't Blue Monday part of the Mirage rehearsals where he did also did I've Been Lovin' You Too Long with Stevie?

I LOVE Lindsey's cover of Big Yellow Taxi - I've only ever heard it 2 or 3 times
