Why now?? Whyyyy? I have been waiting for this for ages, and now that it finally gets posted, they disconnected my internet connection and I am secretly logged on to some poor schlob that hasn't secured his wireless connection but who has the slooooowest internet connection ever.
Life is unfair. |

Arg!
How did I miss out on the Lindsey LA show? I have about 4.3% downloaded. Fixing to go out and about for a lil while, perhaps I'll have 10% by the time I get back.
BTW, I love your sig quote from Bono, Brian. I agree with him COMPLETELY.

-sigh- This'll never work for me. Whenever I open the torrent in the BitTorrent program, it give me a status bar, but it says that I have bad data from tracker. And it NEVER loads anything. I can't figure it out.

Cool, a show I was at. (balcony, 3rd row, dead center) The set list was basically the same as the rest of the tour's. Using the Wash DC set as a guide, I'm almost positive he did "Wrong" (after "Doing What I Can")...which he'd only done once or twice previously on the tour....AND, they did "Holiday Road" after "Eyes Of The World" and before "Soul Drifter". Now whether these made it onto the recording, I have no idea.

Lindsey Buckingham - Gift Of Screws
Unreleased album from 2000 / 2001 http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=67019 joeyjay notes: This is a re-seed from February 2005, originally posted by fmfanuk, who gets all due credit here. This is fabulous stuff, and all original files are included. The only difference is the actual folder name, which I had to create because person who archived it for me went inside the folder before saving all the files. Anyway, I know this was a hugely popular DL at the time but thought I'd offer up again for those who missed it or are relatively new to DIME. Thanks again to fmfanuk for the original share. The original notes are below. Enjoy ... Linage: CDR -> EAC -> WAV -> FLAC Lindsey Buckingham's hugely anticipated follow-up to his 1992 masterpiece 'Out Of The Cradle', Gift Of Screws was recorded in the years that followed Cradle right up until 2000, the album was submitted to the record company 'Warners Brothers (Reprise) and a decision was taken not to release the album but to re-record the tracks with Fleetwood Mac and release them on the next Fleetwood Mac studio album 'Say You Will' which was released in 2003. MP3s of this CD surfaced on the internet in 2001 and are believed to be the mixed tracks but not mastered tracks from "Gift Of Screws", recording date believed to be 2000 / 2001, this collection is a copy of the submitted CD of Gift Of Screws. This collection contains the only copy of the lossless files currently in circulation. No editing of the tracks have been done and the songs are brought to you exactly as on the CD. Woah.
His version of ISA from that LA show is spec-frickin'-tacular! I was never crazy about the ISA's from the OOTC tour, but this....I need a cig! His vocal is superb and intense. What a terrific solo too! The Go Insane from that show is awesome as well.
His voice just soared during the OOTC tour, it was so powerful and gripping.
