Default In the meantime review

There is a small review of Chris' album in this months Q magazine. It is fairly positive, in that it says Chris seems happy and upbeat and the music reflects that, but also harps on about how she'll never better her Rumours period stuff ( how old is that music now!!!!)

Dave
Is it worth buying the whole magazine for?

I wouldn't say so, no. Q magazine has really gone downhill recently with it's reviews. This one is only about 20 lines long (very short).

She bettered her Rumours stuff with her TITN material. I guess that multi-plantinum album just passed them by.

Well said, Krista! Honestly, if these article writers insist that Rumours is so profoundly impactful and well-known, why keep mentioning it?

It's like Sybill on the phone in Fawlty Towers.

Sybill: "Oh I know...... ohhhh, I know.... Yeeeess.... I know.."
Basil: "Well why does she keep telling you, then?"

Default In the Meantime Review

I read the review today (in the newsagents) - it didn't take long and I didn't buy it.

It didn't really tell us any more than we already know.

I've read the lyrics to all of the songs on ITM and some of them don't sound remotely happy to me. So either the music is happy and jolly or this reviewer wasn't listening to the lyrics.

Hmmm...does anyone else get the feeling the person who wrote the review hadn't even listened to the whole album, just read the press release and heard "You Are"?
