is anyone going to the AC show? is anyone up for a meeting somewhere before the show for drinks or to lose all our money at the tables?

I'll be there. Not really sure what the plans are for the day just yet, but if time allows, I'd be up for meeting up.

Well, I'll be a travelling man, so, please something close to the venue, so I got to park once. Further: Ain't got no idea at all, don't know AC, never been there. Any ideas for a decent, inexpensive place to stay for me close to the venue?

AC is full of hotels, since it is a resort town. Basically, any of the resort hotels are perfectly fine, nice hotels, but pricier. The LB show is on a Saturday and I've already checked, most of the rates are in the $300-$400 a night range for that night. If you don't mind paying that much, the Taj Mahal has its own hotel or you can look into Resorts or Showboat, which are both very close and all have their own parking garages. Basically anything significantly cheaper than that in AC is probably sketchy or not on the Boardwalk, meaning you'd have to drive to and from the venue. If you don't mind doing that, you can probably find some reasonable rates in hotels in neighboring towns like Absecon. Just make sure to read the reviews. The nice hotels in AC are nice, the ones that aren't are pretty gross.
