man. he needs to color his hair darker. he's looking almost haggard. but, i wont look that good at nigh-60-yrs-old, so what the hell.

no, youre right though!
as amazing he looks for basically 60, the man has such gorgeous blue eyes, darker hair would make them stand out even more! i mean...its common sense...gosh

You know what was great about his People spread with Lee Lee is that even though her hair is light, her eyes looked just as bright as Dad's. Of course, another thing I loved with her was when she snatched his sunglasses on Destiny Rules.

Anyway, I know that it's not easy for guys to dye their hair because if they wear their hair short the gray just shows again so quickly. Of course, for whatever reason, our John did try to dye his hair. His beard was one color and his head another. I don't know what was up with that!

I *think* he was still coloring his hair around the Dance era. I think he was graying by 93-ish. But that being said, he does look "purt good" for almost being 60. He def got the good genes running in his family.

Even back then Carol said he told her to shoot him if he ever started looking like Kenny Rogers. Well, if he ever did that face lift stuff that Kenny is doing today, I'd like her to shoot me as well.

I think he looks like he's had a little nip/tuck under the chin, but thankfully it appears no botox. Thank God. That stuff kills - and that's what's wrong with Kenny...and the OC Housewives too on a sidenote.

Oh, and for the record, Lindsey has def held up better than say, Don Henley, Glenn Frey or Joe Walsh....yeah.

I do wonder what Stevie thinks of looks. I mean, Lindsey's looks don't appear to be lost on her. She has noted his beauty when she met him playing California Dreaming, when she wrote Kind of Woman, when she mentions his eyes, etc., but when she has dated guys that aren't traditionally attractive, I think their power and position must have appealed to her, so did that blind her physically or did she overlook the physical (which is actually the mature thing to do, to see deeper than that) or what.

Anyway, she did make me smile:

"Sometimes he takes me back to 1971. He's still thin and pretty gorgeous. Often, I think we live in a parallel universe, where we're not sure if it is 1973 or 2003."
