Christine recorded about 40 demos with her then husband for a solo album back in the 1990's. But, she's either destroyed them or kept them to herself. None have circulated. "Temporary One" was among those 40.

Well I never knew that!

I wonder if any of them are any good?

Also I wonder if Eddy has ever thought of recording them himself?

Would he be able to do that without her permission? (and do you think she'd give it LOL) Eddy doesn't seem to be up to much these days. But then if I 'co-wrote' a few major hit songs w/ Christine McVie I guess I could kick back and relax too.

I can't imagine that he'd be allowed to record any of those songs, unless he got them in the divorce settlement. He didn't get the dogs or her house so I doubt he got the songs.

By the way, I have a feeling that "Easy Come Easy Go" was one of those 40 demos as well.

Eddy has pretty much disappeared from the face of the earth. I'm still awaiting his "next big hit".

What is Christine up to these days? I hate that she's becoming a hermit. I FEEL as if she doesn't care about her fans.

She cares. Everyone needs a break, yes? Everyone needs to retire to a more quiet life. She graced us with many many many years of great music. I'm sad that she is gone, but glad of what she gave us. Who knows...she could be back...

Ditto to everything Curtis said.

She had a thirty year career.......I'm thankful for the music she's given us. I miss her, of course, but I'd rather her be happy in England than miserable on the road.

She has retired, and is doing exactly what she wants to do. She gave us 30+ years of her life. And she had the sense to know when it was time to retire. What more could you possibly ask of her?
Of course I wish she were still with FM, but I'm happy that she's living the life she's earned.
