Default "Rumours" wins Album of the Year

Just stumbled upon this clip and I hadn't seen it before.

Love the fast clip of Lindsey & Carol at about :41 on the video. They can hardly contain their excitement...

I'm sure Stevie was going to have this eloquent speech, but there wasn't enough time. So she does a quick thank you to Warner Brothers. Good move.

The talent in the nominees that year was stellar.

Star Wars - John Williams

Hotel California - The Eagles

Steely Dan - Asia

JT - James Taylor (which he made in like three months)

I hope Richard's last name was correct on the actual award!

...the best album of that year, and many other years, in my opinion...

I was. And I probably played Steely Dan's AJA and The Eagles HOTEL CALIFORNIA almost as much as RUMOURS.

I've seen this clip before. Love when Christine puts the victrola-trophy to Richard's ear.

They hardly gave anyone enough time to speak. I'm sure Stevie would have said something awesome. She saved the day when speaking for the band during its RRHOF induction.

Stevie needs some aloe for that burn. HDY cut her off, Dick Clark. Gonna blame him for that one.

This clip makes me want to cry of happiness, literally.... I love seeing the band at this stage in its life. Plus, I adore all 5 of those albums, so this video serves as yet another reminder of how much it sucks to be 17 in this decade.
