"In 2001, she [Sheryl Crow] replaced Christine McVie in Fleetwood Mac. Crow is good friends with Stevie Nicks, and inducted Fleetwood Mac into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998."

Did I miss something? Was this a one time thing? This is from the site that refered to Mirage and 'Miracle' and spelt Lindsey with (of course) an A. Is there any truth to this? Saying she "replaced" Christine seems extremely blasphamus in the FM world.

There were a lot of rumours a few years ago about Sheryl replacing Christine in the tours--supported at that time by Sheryl's touring as a guest on Stevie's TiSL tour, but they were just rumours. She never really replaced her.

That same site also says this about Barenaked Ladies (one of my other favorite bands)

"Many of their songs have really goofy lyrics which they often change in concert, sometimes making them up as they go along."

Considering they're supposed to be "artist facts," I would say that writer should avoid saying things subjective like "really goofy lyrics," though I can't argue with that assessment.

Well, having spent more time on the site, I'd say it's full of stuff like that, as I should've gathered from the first post in this thread.

That is all "rumours" and no facts. They need to get their facts straight, and of course, I agree that Christine is irreplaceable.
