I like that you have Paper Doll high up there. I think it's a pretty great song and if I remember correctly...aren't there quite a few past members playing on this track?

I always like to see Paper Doll remembered as well. Love the song. Love the video.

Yeah, Paper Doll is one of my favorite Stevie songs, even though I know it's generally not highly regarded. I don't have any idea which former band members play on it, but if love to know. I love the melody toward the end played on an instrument I can't figure out -- the riff that sounds a little like some sort of synthesized violin.

I thought it was the BTM line-up, plus Lindsey.

it's a really tough call to make, but I do love Mirage and regard it as the band's most underrated album. I usually call Tusk my favorite album -- but there are definitely times when I like Rumours better, and, yes, even times when I think Mirage is my favorite. The three are so different with one another that it's hard for me to pinpoint the "best album" among them.

I do know that my least favorite is Tango -- which, oddly, was the first Mac album I ever heard start to finish.

THIS. Agree 100%, Michele!!

My Top 25 of all time (sorry, I can't put only 20!). It's rare because if you like an album more than another, you don't know which song you should put. I agree with Ken too, Mirage is so underrated. Maybe it's my favourite too, but also Bare Trees. I can't choose only one!

In order, maybe:

1) Big Love
2) You & I (part I)
3) Sunny Side of Heaven
4) Straight Back
5) Book Of Love
6) Can't Go Back
7) Monday Morning
8) Forever
9) I'm So Afraid (live, please)
10) Caught in the Rain
11) Sentimental Lady
12) Brown Eyes
13) Over & Over
14) Love In Store
15) Over My Head
16) Bright Fire
17) Remember Me
18) Emerald Eyes
19) Paper Doll
20) Everywhere
21) What Makes You Think You're The One
22) Sisters of the Moon
23) Silver Springs
24) Oh Diane
25) Oh Well

Songs by artist:
Lindsey (8), Christine (6), Stevie (4), Bob Welch (3), Bob Weston (2), Danny Kirwan (1), Peter Green (1).

So hard to pick 20- certainly impossible to do it in order. It's really difficult to rationalize what would be considered 'the best 20' songs with 'favorite 20' songs. I'm conscious that songs like Big Love and Dreams should technically be considered as being amongst the best- they just aren't amongst my favorites. This list combines best and favorite as much as I can.

Albatross
Black Magic Woman
Come a Little Bit Closer
Everywhere
Future Games
Go Your Own Way
Gypsy
I Loved Another Woman
Jewel Eyed Judy
Landslide
Oh Well
Rhiannon
Sentimental Lady
Silver Springs
Tango in the Night
Tusk
The Chain
Wish You Were Here
Why
You Make Loving Fun

Chris (5)
Lindsey (3)
Stevie (4)
Peter (4)
Danny (1)
Bob (2)
Chris/Stevie/Lindsey/Mick/John (1)
