Heart LB solo (solo!!) tour

info swirling on FB - seems that this will be a real SOLO - as ALONE! tour. as a dream come true for all those people who were sad when the acoustic part of his SWS set was over!!

i can come up with tons - and i mean TONS - of songs he can do solo acoustically. starting with RAB and WALK A THIN LINE!!

he needs to take requests too.

Wow, really? I wonder how long of a tour this will be and what cities he will be hitting. I'd definitely be interested in this, since the acoustic sets of this past tour were my favorite part. I like the band, but I feel like the sound is a tad bit too polished with them and just Linds and a guitar will be a real treat!

I'll miss the band for sure, and the fun and craziness that goes along with the whole show, BUT I AM SO EXCITED I CAN"T STAND IT!!!! Like the 92Y event I didn't get to see...ONLY BETTER!!!

Heart Dream SOLO set list

Songs I'd love to hear solo ( in no particular order )...

Shut Us Down ( best opener ever! )
Big Love
Go Insane
Rock Away Blind
Bel Air Rain
Love Minus Zero/No Limit
In Our Own Time ( I think he could make this work solo...I have no idea how, but he does amazing things with songs, and so I'll trust him on this one )
SMAP
WATL ( for Elle )
Down On Rodeo
Red Rover
Cast Away Dreams
End of Time
She Smiled Sweetly
I Am Waiting
Soul Drifter
This Nearly Was Mine/Street of Dreams
Stars Are Crazy
Trouble
That's the Way Love Goes ( just as with IOOT...he could make this work! )
ISA ( acoustic or electric )
Tango In the Night ( acoustic or electric )

I know I'm leaving out a lot I'd love to hear, but these were my first thoughts

Hopefully, he'll be forced to rework more older songs, (try Tango in the Night, Lindsey). I don't want a tour heavy on UTS.

Go Insane
Gone Too Far
I Am Waiting
Rock Away Blind
Satisfied Mind
Seeds We Sow (if he has to...)
She Smiled Sweetly
Shut Us Down
Underground
Big Love

I understand Michelle's sentiment - as we've been blessed with a lot of UTS live recordings, but I still would truly love hearing all those again...superb indeed! And actually, SUD is the only one of those I've heard live in person ( as opposed to live, on a DVD or CD ).

well yeah, but most of UTS songs he did on the last few tours are not the acoustic ones. he did not regularly do DOR or IAW. and i think he never did CAD or To Try For The Sun on any tour?!

Exactly! I would go nuts hearing all of them. It's funny 'cause after seeing so many videos over the years I start to feel like I've heard certain songs live Red Rover and DOR. CAD, It Was You. But I haven't heard them! DOR would be amazing, and after hearing the recordings of IAW ( which I always liked anyways ) from 92Y, I would certainly love to hear that one

Oh. He can do it now but he couldn't do it when it meant preventing the storm that happened before Christmas. I.... I have no words right now.

Bee -

We all would have accepted this! Why couldn't he have?
