Heart LB solo (solo!!) tour

info swirling on FB - seems that this will be a real SOLO - as ALONE! tour. as a dream come true for all those people who were sad when the acoustic part of his SWS set was over!!

i can come up with tons - and i mean TONS - of songs he can do solo acoustically. starting with RAB and WALK A THIN LINE!!

he needs to take requests too.

Wow, really? I wonder how long of a tour this will be and what cities he will be hitting. I'd definitely be interested in this, since the acoustic sets of this past tour were my favorite part. I like the band, but I feel like the sound is a tad bit too polished with them and just Linds and a guitar will be a real treat!

I'll miss the band for sure, and the fun and craziness that goes along with the whole show, BUT I AM SO EXCITED I CAN"T STAND IT!!!! Like the 92Y event I didn't get to see...ONLY BETTER!!!

Heart Dream SOLO set list

Songs I'd love to hear solo ( in no particular order )...

Shut Us Down ( best opener ever! )
Big Love
Go Insane
Rock Away Blind
Bel Air Rain
Love Minus Zero/No Limit
In Our Own Time ( I think he could make this work solo...I have no idea how, but he does amazing things with songs, and so I'll trust him on this one )
SMAP
WATL ( for Elle )
Down On Rodeo
Red Rover
Cast Away Dreams
End of Time
She Smiled Sweetly
I Am Waiting
Soul Drifter
This Nearly Was Mine/Street of Dreams
Stars Are Crazy
Trouble
That's the Way Love Goes ( just as with IOOT...he could make this work! )
ISA ( acoustic or electric )
Tango In the Night ( acoustic or electric )

I know I'm leaving out a lot I'd love to hear, but these were my first thoughts

Hopefully, he'll be forced to rework more older songs, (try Tango in the Night, Lindsey). I don't want a tour heavy on UTS.

Heart LB solo acoustic setlist - v1

ok, let's see:

first thing's first:

WALK A THIN LINE

now we can go on more calmly:

Down On Rodeo
Bleed To Love Her
To Try For The Sun !!!!!
Cast Away Dreams
End Of Time
Go Insane
Gone Too Far
I Am Waiting
Rock Away Blind
Satisfied Mind
Seeds We Sow (if he has to...)
She Smiled Sweetly
Shut Us Down
Underground
Big Love
Love Minus Zero/No Limit
NGBA - fast version, on electric guitar like at USC
Red Rover
Save Me A Place
Steal Your Heart Away
Bwana?

and maybe if he can rework these somehow:

In Our Own Time
One Take
That's The Way Love Goes
Sleeping Around the Corner
I'm So Afraid

i was looking at all dates @nickslive has posted of this summer 2012 tour so far (i wish LB's website would have his past tour dates archived some place!)... and thinking back of when we first heard this solo/alone tour might be happening, and how worried we were that he will do just a few southern CA dates and end it there. but - there are already MORE THAN 60 DATES so far, and a promise of another leg to come!!!!!

Oh. He can do it now but he couldn't do it when it meant preventing the storm that happened before Christmas. I.... I have no words right now.

I am trying not to freak out...this is exactly what we wanted in December! It would have been amazing. Surely this 'solo solo' plan must incorporate the UK and Ireland???? I will be so upset if it doesn't. Obviously I don't begrudge anyone who will get to see him but I will feel disappointed and slighted if us UK/IRL fans are left out yet again.

Poet - I really doubt he would do this now for UK/Ireland/Europe.

But he may still plan to come over with full band later - I am holding Neale to his promise!!!!!

I guess I'm in the minority here...

I think a portion of his set dedicated to acoustics is fine, but I definitely need some rock and roll in there. I can't imagine a LB solo show without a rocking 'Tusk' and 'Go Your Own Way.' Also, this means TTWLG will be toned down, if he plays it at all.

Sure, there are lots of songs I'd love to hear acoustically, but I definitely prefer him with his band.

My sentiments exactly. If this is true then he really should come to the UK with this tour.
