Default a strange realization

Im beyond stoked about Buckingham McVie, but it's also very odd to think the songs on Say You Will and the EP may very well be the last recorded Buckingham Nicks collaborations...

They also collaborated for Soldier's Angel from In Your Dreams.
However yes, those may be the last collaborations and as someone pointed out some time ago, it's ironic that Stevie's last contribution is a song called "Without You".

I've been thinking about this as well lately. On some level, I have to believe Stevie's ego won't allow the rest of the band to have the last word without her. Maybe this whole Buckingham McVie thing will cause her to circle back. She will have flexed her muscle by then- the BM album will have been released without her and invariably not been a hit, and so the next go around it'll be on her terms, and she'll get to project herself as the savior of the band once again. Fits her operating style to a tee. Never again to Stevie usually just means not until it's her idea.

Yeah its an exciting time but its a shame Stevie did not want to do another album. But its her choice. Its just so strange because of the fact she said how much she missed Christine and was so happy she came back.
It makes no sense if she was that happy she declined to work with her for one LAST Fleetwood Mac album.
Say you will is not the realization I think of. I think that you have to go back to the 1980's for these 5 to record new material together. Yes Tango (1987) but not really. Stevie spent little time recording with the band and it was mostly a Lindsey solo album. So you have to go back to Mirage (1982) for the last real group effort on vinyl.
But as miserable Stevie must be to be around Lindsey, I am so happy how pumped Christine is to tour and record new music again. Its really a dream and I am afraid I will wake up.
