Default Peter on Peter Gabriel's "Up"

Has anyone (out of the four people who probably read this board) heard Peter's guitar work on "Sky Blue" on Peter Gabriel's new record "Up"? The album was released awhile ago, but I didn't know if anybody'd talked about it.

I only bring it up because I'm completely (uncharacteristically) obsessed with the record, even more so after seeing his insanely great show at the United Center.

Haven't heard it myself, yet. But, there was a thread regarding it here a while back:

Thanks d.

It's a great song. It's my favorite on the record. I haven't heard the soundtrack they thought the riff came from, so I wonder. Peter's guitar is sparse but effective. More than anything, the Blind Boys of Alabama guest on the song (and are touring w/ Gabriel as well) and they really lift it.

Anyhow. Thanks for the link.

Pretty much how one could describe his playing in general, these days. But, reading some notes on the Splinter Group site regarding the new album's sessions, Peter's playing with some "fire" recently. Really looking forward to THAT album.
