Default Why

I would love to hear them sing this song. The three together at the end. PERFECT. Why 2014!

It would seem like an appropriate song for her return... the lyrics about giving up & all that. Plus, it hasn't been performed since the 1975 tour... so there would be a whole "full circle" thing, too.

"Why" definitely is one of my favorite Christine songs. It and "Nights and Estoril" and "Isn't It Midnight" round out the top three, although I never have gone through all of them to rank, so that could be false.

"Homeward Bound" and "Come A Little Closer" too. And though it's Bob's song, her vocals on "Keep On Going" are priceless.

Jeez, throw in "Did You Ever Love Me" too, hahaha.

But. "Why" should be performed, then have Christine play "Songbird." Fabulous.

I assume by "the ending" you mean when then are all singing together. I adore this song, but I actually don't really like the guitar solo at the end. I would love it to just end after after they sing the last "Why don't you love me?" . But even with that final guitar solo, it would be a wonderful, wonderful addition to the setlist. The question is not Why? The question is, Why not?

The intro and ending solo are great - then, the time for Bob Weston to shine in the song, and now Lindsey. Sounds like it was on a dobro, but definitely slides in there.

I disliked the removal of older songs after the Tusk tour, so they definitely should bring some back. They also should dedicate a Bob Welch song as they didn't seem to mention him at all this past tour. :-/
