Albatross...
Hello from sunny Italy!
The great news is that Peter Green did record a new version of "Albatross" for a "chillout album" (different artists on each track). No members of the Splinter Group were involved in the session, but at the moment I don't know the names of the musicians who recorded it. We have to wait to hear it, but Martin Celmins told me it's a very good version, kind of fresh with some nice new ideas! Stay Green, Mario. |

It's by Chris Coco and is released on Distinctive Records.
To me, the track is a bit reverb heavy...like they pumped the entire mix through a reverb tank...but other than that, it's a pretty faithful version to Peter's original. http://www.distinctiverecords.com/ |
