Status Quo
Radio 2, played their version of "don't stop" today..what a cool song, done in true rollicking Quo style! Is it off the Legacy CD?

I think Elton John did "Don't Stop" in that CD, if I remember correctly...

A couple of months ago "London Tonight" did an extended documentary on Status Quo as they had "now been in the charts during 4 decades"........
Are Fleetwood Mac still considered to be a British band? Seeing as the remaining two co-founders and Mr. Green are all British I would say they are, but I can see why they could very easily be thought of as American. Well, anyway, I hope next year "London Tonight" can do a documentary about a British band that's been in the charts during FIVE decades.........!!!! |

So maybe that song came from that documentry. I have to say it was very true to the original, even the guitar parts were almost exactly the same but of course it had that Status Quo beat and pace that we know. A good rocking song!! Yeah, I like your idea of an FM doc, why don't you email them and suggest it.
