At this point, regardless of all the history/drama, they're bound to be ~old friends~ enough to the point that they can enjoy and feel comfortable showing affection in that way.

It's just awkward for us because they're holding hands while talking about the fact that they practically were married a million years ago, Lindsey IS married, Stevie has a dog, and every night they relive their love affair onstage

Ok...is there ANY other past couple in ANY field that you know of who have what Stevie and Lindsey have had since they were 16. And, this thread is turning me into a shipper!!!!!! They seem so awkward because it's like Stevie said about the Angel segment on Tusk...being filmed with all of your feelings written all over your face (and body) tends to make one feel very vulnerable. Their newfound friendship and understanding of one another seems to have changed them from a bitter looking old married couple to a happy looking married couple.

I think there is some exaggeration about just how much everything is choreographed. Yes, there are guidelines I'm sure, yes and no subjects, etc. but just the amount of interviews they do surrounding a tour makes for rote memorization. And, they are old school...they put a show together and pretty much stick.The same thing can only be said so many ways! I think the next leg of the tour just might see them getting a little more comfortable and 'organic' on stage.The trust Lindsey has spoken of regarding Stevie toward him seems to have finally been earned. I feel like the talks they speak of before this tour are the ones that they've needed to have for all these years. Whatever it is, it's lovely to see them this way!

I love all the video, but it's so hard to catalog and keep track of it. I feel that I will forget so much that gave me pleasure this year. I wish we had a print transcript of all of these moments that we could search when we want to recall things a couple of years from now.
