With Christine Mcvie back I think SYLM will be the opener. They want to herald her return so it would make sense that they open with something of hers and since they have opened with SYLM before it only seems fitting.

I agree with "Nicks Fan" that Say You Love Me would make a very nice opener. It is one of the very old songs from the seventies that will definitely be in the set. Not as wonderful as 1973's Believe Me by C. McVie but still an amazing song that I hope to hear live one day.

To herald Chris's return though, the band could quite definitely choose a different song to SYLM. Not Believe Me obviously because it pre-date Buckingham Nicks/Rumours era. Maybe ...maybe...a Tango song dare I say it? Everywhere? Little Lies even? Dare to dream hey!

Let's just slightly undercut our dreams with some realism though:

I think Tusk would be an awesome opener with the drum instrumental beginning, if they are feeling inspired.
If they are feeling inspired anything over than The Chain would be amazing

I always thought "Tusk" would be great to put in the very second slot of the set list. We're all used to the openers at this point. "Tusk" is so wild and crazy on stage, it would be neat to see it very early in the set! Maybe replace "Dreams" forever.

They will surely be doing 3 high energy songs in a row this tour, as they head towards the end of the show.

I wonder what they will be this time. Tusk, Stand Back and Go Your Own Way; IKINW, Stand Back and GYOW; Tusk, GYOW and Don't Stop ... or some other combo of three?

Actually, this time they should do three from different songwriters, so Tusk, Stand Back and Don't Stop, back to back.

Probably You Make Loving Fun/Stand Back/Go Your Own Way if they go that route, similar to the '87-'90 tours (SB came first then YMLF). Silver Springs/Tusk/GYOW is how they ended the main part of the Dance shows.

To be fair, they've only opened with The Chain on two tours...The Dance and Say You Will. Oh, maybe the 1994 shows as well...

Tusk or Tango in the Night are great opening song suggestions!

Even Lindsey wouldn't be able to make the last TEN songs in the set be none of them by Stevie.

They have opened with the Chain on the 90,94,97 and 03 tours. On the 90 tour they did In The Back of My Mind bit during the guitar solo they segued into the Chain without a break in the songs.

Oh really you're right!! Haha believe me that I didn't see that! Well, I suppose Say Goodbye and the new song can have Stevie on it. I put myself on Lindsey's shoes to make a setlist thinking about Chris' return. Stevie has more songs on the first half of the set!!
Regards and thanks!
Mark.

Yeah, but still 6 songs out of 26 isn't going to cut it for Stevie. She would need 8 or 9, given 26 total songs, to get about a third of the set which is likely what she'll get.

You're right too! Maybe I didn't put enough songs. Anyway, I think that with the Chris return, Stand Back would be one of the deleted songs (yes, I know Stevie performed it in the 88-90 tours), more if we're thinking in new songs, and the return of Chris' ones!
We can count: Dreams, GDW, Rhiannon, Landslide, Gypsy, Sara...I forgot Silver Springs!!!! (ouch!), but then...well, we have duets with Lindsey! NGBA, Say Goodbye, maybe Crystal and a new song!
Regards.
